2 1/2 Inch Asaphus Lepidurus - Russian Trilobite

This is a 2 1/2 inch long example of a Russian asaphid trilobite Asaphus lepidurus. It is 2 1/2 inches long around the curve and is very inflated. It has been meticulously prepared using airscribes and air abrasives under microscope, a very time consuming process. It was quarried from the St. Petersburg region of Russia from the famous Putilovo quarry.
