1.75" Kettneraspis Trilobite With Long Occipital - Lghaft, Morocco
This is a 1.75" long, Kettneraspis? prescheri trilobite from Morocco. It has a large, and very distinctive occipital spine. These trilobites have typically been labeled as Leonaspis but based on more recent papers it appears to be Kettneraspis? prescheri. It some separation between the head and thorax but is well prepared with only about 2% shell restoration.
