Triassic Fossil Shrimp From Madagascar
This is a wonderfully preserved, 245 million year old fossil shrimp collected near Ambilobe, Madagascar. These Lower Triassic fossils are some of the oldest known shrimp fossils in the world. This specimen has great detail and is preserved inside a nodule with both halves included.
